I must be getting old...I should have typed James Savage/Savedge. His marriage record in Edgecomb shows his name as James H Savedge when he married Kate Barfield but his son George spelled the name Savage and the 1850 census of Edgecomb has it Savage (however that census only has initials and not whole names---maddening) Thanks, Audrey
