I know that it has been awhile since this was posted, but re: the Sherrod Savage, I have just located a will of Allen Savage who mentions his son Sherrod Savage. The will was written 19 April 1813 and proved May Court 1816. I believe this Allen Savage to be my Warren Savage's nephew. I think there was someone else on the list also looking for information on a Sherrod savage? Can send more details if interested. The will was proved in Edgcombe Linda Anderson In a message dated 03/16/2001 10:24:32 AM Eastern Standard Time, tracithompson@hotmail.com writes: > Hi, Linda, I am sending this message to you and others who have mentioned > >the Sherrod and Savage families recently on the Edgecombe list.
