Traci, There are member of the DANIEL Family all over Edgecombe in the 1800 time frame and the THIGPENS, who I am also related to are from Edgecombe and they migrated to about the same area in GA in the same time frame. There are 25 DANIEL marriages in Edgecombe, NC between just 1820 and 1855. I also saw links in this county to several collateral families in GA that were of sufficient interest for me to check out the possibility my DANIEL bunch in Burke and Jefferson County, GA ca. 1850 came from this general area of NC. .
