Linda, The only Landing material I found in Edgecombe Co. was a will for Martha Ann Landing. I copied it because she mentioned Rebecca Savage, who got a cow and a feather bed. No relationship was stated. She did mention some people named Hyde, including a nephew, James Thomas Hyde who received some land and was executor. Also mentioned was Stephen Hyde, son of John Hyde. Have copy of will. I tried to look at the Halifax deed index on microfilm but it was pretty much illegible. Clyde
