PHILLIPS Dec 1866 in Enfield, NC (George was son of James H. Savage who married Catherine "Kate" BARFIELD in Tarboro, Edgecomb co  Aug 1834)  Their children: John A Savage b. Dec 1867  married Annie ?? Nannie B. Savage b. Mar 1870  married Lynn DAUGHTRY Bettie May Savage b. May 1872  married Stephen Shadrack SPIVEY (his ancestry is SPIVEY, SOURSBY, GRANT and LASSITER) George M. Savage  b. Aug 1874  married Ila EURY Mary L. (Mammie) Savage b. Dec 1877  married Robert (Bob) IVEY Sara Floy Savage b. May 1881  married Henry Martin FAISON    George Acrile Savage 2nd Marriage to Catherine Savannah ROBBINS Feb 1887 in Enfield.  Their children: Lottie Mabel Savage b. Aug 1889  married Richard Marion HUDSON Richard Acrol Savage b. Oct 1897  married Rose Annie BRANCH   Their were children from both of George Acrile Savage's marriages who died as infants. I have child info for most of the married children of George Acrile Savage.    This group moved around, some stayed in Halifax, some went to Edgecomb and Northampton, some moved to VA.
