The FTP text files for Duplin County can be accessed by going to ftp://ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/nc/duplin/1790/ There you can click on either the Index or the Census. These files were transcribed and Copyrighted by Gary E. Blessing in 2002. The 1790 census can also be found at http://www.census-online.com/links/NC/Duplin/ The 1784-1786 census is also listed there.
