Hi folks, need some help because I'm really stuck. My G-G-Grandparents were John Pope and Annie Carr or Polly Kerr. I have the death certificate of their daughter Mary and it says her mother was Annie Carr. The genealogy book on William Taylor of Duplin/Sampson Co NC states her name Polly Kerr. That is my problem. Is the surname Carr or Kerr? I am descended from John Thomas Pope and Mary Elizabeth Beasley. John Thomas was the son of John Pope and Annie Carr/Polly Kerr. Annie/Polly was born abt 1810. I still don't know who her parents are, my great aunt thought it may be Jonathan Pope. I found a Polly Carr born about the right time but she married a Bannerman. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, (since I'm already begging), I need to know the parents of Julia Carter who married Isaac Teachey. Both raised in Duplin/Sampson Counties, NC and born abt 1815. Also my G-G-Grandparents. I want to take this time to thank Jackie from California.
