    1. Re: [NCDUPLIN] Re; William Carroll Place ???
    2. Ike, I have a copy of the booklet..I am not sure if it's in the library in Clinton or Kenansville.. Someone made the copy and I don't remember who it was. It is called Carlton and Related Families" an update by Mary Carlton Blackburn, April 1989. There are 60 pages.. Like I mentioned in my original query, I was seeking information as to who this William Carroll was..since it seems old information passed down that Jesse Carroll was the son of William...I had read it before, but just this weekend was checking a date in the booklet and came across it once again....and it got my attention.... I have checked all my Dupin/Sampson books I have and do not find a William Carroll... Remember we chatted before about the Carltons when I was looking for Carlton Crossing on the railroad.... My G.Grandparents were Thomas Fryar and Martha Jane "Mattie" Carroll who lived in Magnolia, and I have a letter story written by a cousin, that states that to get to her Grandparents home you crossed the railroad at Carlton Corners... My G.Grandmother's brother Rev. Luther Rice Carroll was married to Jemima Ann Carlton... Jackie in CA... -------------- Original message -------------- From: [email protected] > I am also related to the Carltons and Carrolls!
