Some of us are working on the ownership of the land at Richard Caswell Park in Kinston and need some information so this is not my own family. Harper Williams was of Duplin Co and according to the 1850 Census had at least 5 sons including one, Joseph, who went to Lenoir Co. One of the sons, William H. had a Will in Duplin in 1889 (which I have not seen) that mentions the children of his dec brother, Joseph, and two sisters, Mrs. H. C. Faison and her son Dr. W. W. Faison and Mrs. M. E. Lee. I can't find who those two sisters were and it is really probably not important - just curious - but we are trying to determine if there was another sister Martha C. Williams Brown. Do I assume that Harper had two wives and two sets of children? Does anyone have a complete list of Harper's children or know how Martha C. might fit in this Williams family. She was bc 1822 md John M. Brown bc 1845. Thanks. Martha
