    3. The book "Herring Highlights" volume 3, by James Grimwood, shows Charity Herring, born Oct 1768 in Dobbs County, NC, married Elisha Uzzell Jr.. Goes on to say that in 1790 Cenus of Wayne County, Elisha Uzell has probably one son and three daughters. That same year an Elisha Uzell witnessed a deed on 21 Jan and other 3 names on the document were Charity's brothers.
