Hester Whitfield b. April 14, 1797 in Duplin Co. N C., daughter of Joseph Whitfield I, and Mary Grady (daughter of John Grady & Mary E. Whitfield). Hester married Jan. 14, 1928 to Alexander Grady, son of Lewis Grady (son of William, son of John Grady1) and Theresa Bailey, they moved to Hopkins Co., Ky. Hester also married Henry Grady.
