Hi all, The reason I have been pushing so hard this month for African American information is because all of you know this month is African American History month. African American researchers are up against some terrific odds in tracing their family histories and I am trying to make it easier on them and to give them access to more information to aid in their searches. So, if you have any information, or know of where I can find some information please share it with me. Next month is Women's History Month. So let's all pull together and send in information on Duplin County women. Their courageous acts and deeds, things they did and sacrificed to further their causes, family histories, anything along these lines would be a wonderful addition to the site. As we all know, women and African Americans are often overlooked in history so it is our turn to start honoring these courageous people.
