    1. [NCDUPLIN] Jonathan Fryar and wife Elizabeth ??
    2. Morning to all, I need some help with one of my many brick walls. Jonathan Fryar is shown on the Colonial Census for 1784 for Sampson co. It is said that he appears in Old Duplin County before the Revlutionary War and he may have come from Vermont? not verified. He was the brother of Jacob Fryar whose wife was Winifred (we believe was a Carr) not verified Jonathan Fryar, I do not have birth date, but he died 22 Feb. 1819 and his wife Elizabeth ?. Have no other information on his wife Elizabeth except the following. I have received a copy of the will of Charity Hollingsworth Caison (Cason) who was married to Cannon Caison (Cason.) In this will she leaves SIX SHILLINGS to her son in law Jonathan Fryar and his heirs. My question is Elizabeth ? wife of Jonathan Fryar the daughter of Charity Hollingsworth and Cannon Caison? Jonathan and Elizabeth's children were: Mary Polly Fryar who married Joseph Moore William Fryar my G.G.Grandfather who married Molsey Jane Gregory Francis "Fannie" Fryar who married Samuel Bludwuth ( this is how it is spelled on the marriage records of NC, 1804, New Hanover co.NC) Have also seen it written Bloodworth and Bloodwith Elizabeth Fryar who married Tommy Tompson (not sure of spelling of his last name) Edith Fryar who married James Banks or Blanks ? ( have seen it both ways) Charity who married Lewis McCallop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jackie Purdy, California
