Paula: I have been trying to tie my GROVES ancestor with the Frederick family since I found a listing of Felix Frederick 1832 will which listed Joseph Groves and Catherine Frederick as devisees. (Will book 1, page 28) Other researchers say the name should have been GRIMES and not GROVES. If you have any information, please let me know. Joseph K. GROVES born 1793 in Jones county, N.C.
