LOL...The kids are still here. Most of the time Samantha is sitting right here in my lap jabbering or helping me type (the reason for so many typos!) or nursing and snoozing. She is a Mama's girl and doesn't like to be very far away from me. Michael likes to play with all of his cars and trucks and watch cartoons when he isn't eating. They are both very good, and believe it or not I do take a lot of breaks from posting info. I do get most of it done when they are napping or after Mike comes home from work and at night when everyone is sleeping. I feel like I neglected the sites and everyone when I was down so long when my back was so bad, but now that it has gotten where I can sit here I like to try and get as much info as possible posted. I feel like I am so far behind on getting all of the stuff I have stock piled transcribed and posted. At least I am keeping up with what everyone is sending in. As long as some of the transcribers don't burn out on me we will trudge through all these piles of info that need to be transcribed and posted. I have at least a years worth of info to keep a team of 100+ transcribers working 8 or more hours a day 7 days a week! I have had to give up transcribing and just concentrate on posting and keeping things active. And this isn't counting the Leslie Brown cards and other things that come in so there will constantly be new goodies being added to the site. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncduplin/duplin.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncgreene/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncjones/jones.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~nclenoir/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncnewhan/nh.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncpasqu2/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncpender/pender.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncperqu2/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncmil/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~mocivwar/mocwindex.html -------Original Message------- From: Betty Rose Date: 2/23/2008 12:15:34 AM To: ncduplin@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [NCDUPLIN] Leslie Brown Index Cards Lordy, YES! One thing for sure...you're organized! It may not be as easy when Michael starts pre-school....and your husband, Mike, must be mighty understanding of your passion for genealogy. You just have so much to be responsible for on these boards...take some time for yourself and enjoy life outside the house.....and I don't see any typos, so Samantha is doing a good job at keeping those little fingers away from the keyboard! Betty (grandmother of 3 little girls: 5,3, and 4 months.....there is no way my daughter could get done what you are doing...there is always something going on in the house or she's busy with carpooling and a few after school activities.....) Sometimes not as organized as it appears! : ) I guess we all have just settled into a routine, and Mike knows I love doing this so he encourages me. Especially when I get discouraged with some of the different sites researchers not responding to anything I send out or post. Oh well, guess those people have all the info they need and have busted down their brick walls...must be nice huh? LOL I will just continue to concentrate on the counties that are interested and post to the others when I find something interesting. Talk soon, lots to do everybody is out shopping! : ) Diane http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncduplin/duplin.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncgreene/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncjones/jones.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~nclenoir/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncnewhan/nh.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncpasqu2/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncpender/pender.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncperqu2/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncmil/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~mocivwar/mocwindex.html -------Original Message------- From: Betty Rose Date: 2/23/2008 12:51:06 AM To: ncduplin@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [NCDUPLIN] Leslie Brown Index Cards One thing for sure...you're organized!
