Hi all, I have someone that is willing to go and make copies of family cards. Please send me any special requests you have and we will work on getting copies and getting them transcribed. I will need extra people to help get the records transcribed also. If we have a huge response it may take time to get everything that is requested, so we will be getting a few at a time. We also have to pay for copies, so again, we will get a few at a time. I have offered to help cover some of the costs of getting these records. I will make a list of all of the requests and we will get copies and get them transcribed as quickly as possible, so please bare with us during this. It won't be an overnight thing to get the copies and get them up online. Some files have a lot of pages and will require some time to get them transcribed. So if yours don't appear on the site right away, have patience and know that we will work as quickly as we can to get them copied, transcribed and online. So, send me what cards you would like to get copies of, (remember the surnames that are in the card files are on the site, along with the amount of cards for each name, to help you see if they are large they will take more time) and I will make a list and we will get copies as quickly as we can. If you would like to help transcribe the cards as we get copies please let me know and I will send you the cards as they come to me for transcribing. A couple of our transcribers are out and another is down with an injury so we need extra help. Also, make sure your email is set up to receive attachments they will be sent in .JPG format. Anyone that has not transcribed for me before, you have to type everything EXACTLY as it is written. Do not correct spelling errors, dates, names, or anything else. They are to be typed up into word EXACTLY as they are written on the originals. You can however put them in order by date. So, go ahead and start sending me your surnames that you would like to get copies of, and if you would like to help us transcribe the cards as we get them. Thanks! Hi Diane! I would love to see what info there is on the Brock surname. I believe there are 32 cards. So I will understand why they can't be transcribed first...... Thanks! There are 8 SELLERS cards and 1 SELLARS card, and I will help transcribe them. Thank you! For this of us with Duplin roots and without funds to do frequent hands-on research, this is a most wonderful gift! Fran -- Genealogist or collector of genealogy? Citing of sources is one difference between the two!
Hi, Diane, As I mentioned before, I will be glad to transcribe all or some of the 88 WILKINS cards on file and will pay for copies. Just let me know how to send payment. I've noticed there are 11 cards in 2 entries under Allied Families Group C plus 104 Wilkins cards in Allied Families Group F. If we transcribe those as well, this could turn out to be my lifelong project! ;-) Thanks.
