I have information on Joseph Williams and Martha Parrott/Perritt who lived in Duplin Co. in the Great Coharrie Swamp; the area that became Sampson County. Three of their sons married daughters of Joseph Herring and Unicy Uzzell who had moved from Johnson Co. to Sampson Co. Hezekiah Williams m Eunice Herring Henry Williams m Nancy Herring Parrott/Perritt, etc. Williams m Rhoda Herring. (The name Parrott varied in spelling in many ways.) I am seeking the parents of Joseph Williams and also the parents of his wife, Martha Parrott or Perritt. According to their obit notice Joseph d July 6, 1825 in Anson Co., NC at age 77. Martha, his wife d July 8, 1825 about 2 years younger. That would have made their birth years about 1748 and 1750 depending on the months they were born in./ Any information would be greatly appreciated. Dorothy White
