Donna, believe it or not that is the "name" of an actual deed book used by the Duplin County Recorder of Deeds! In fact, many of our Daniel WEST descendants's deeds are found in that book. Very strange, indeed, but I have made many photocopies from Duplin County, DB 1-5-10-14-15---not sure the dashes are within the deed book citations---just don't remember. Thanks for the info, Fran. Did you get your copies in Duplin County? I am copying them from the Register of Deeds On-line Records that has a link from the Duplin rootsweb site? I have read many deeds on-line, but many get a message that says "no image for this book and page was found." The book number will only hold 4 digits so our multinumber books with dashes doesn't seem to work. Donna, Try doing a search of the name of the person and see if they will show up that way? Just a suggestion, it might work to where you can get into those books, or they might not be online as yet. Deed Books 1 & 5 & 10 & 14 & 15 were combined into one book that is why it is 1-5-10-14-15.
