Hi all, I have a brick wall and I am hoping someone can help me out. I am looking for information on William Enoch Duff born 1800 in NC. I would love to find out who his parents were so hopefully I can trace this line further. The last record I have of him is in 1870 Union, New Hanover Co. Census living with his sons Nicholas and David. William is a widower, blind and 70 years old. I cannot find William Enoch or Nicholas after the 1870 census and David died in 1880 in Onslow Co. William Enoch married Elizabeth Ann Fussell and had the following children: William I Duff b 1840 Duplin Co. Benjamin Duff b 1842 Duplin Co Riley Duff b 1845 Duplin Co John T Duff b Nov 11, 1846 (my direct line) William Enoch then married Nancy MNU and they had the following children: Nicholas Duff b 1849 Duplin Co Solomon Duff b 1850 Duplin Co Narcissa Duff b 1851 Duplin Co Charity Duff b 1853 Duplin Co David Duff b 1853 Duplin Co If anyone has any info on any of these Duff's or can direct me where to find info on William Enoch Duff I would appreciate it very much!
