    2. Here is John William's will. Maybe the daughter listed as Seaney is your Serena. Duplin Will Book A, p. 503. Will of John Williams (II) 17 June 1790 - July 1790 I, John Williams....in good health and sound mind.... wife, Precilla Williams, during her natural life, manor plantaiton whereon I live, five negroe slaves...wife to scool children...wife to have use of Negro woman until son John is 21, and three horses or mares, 10 cows and calves, 5 steers, 5 sows and pigs, all geese, and 5 feather beds and furniture, plantation tools, and 25 lbs in money to raise children and give youngest son four years schooling and three youngest daughters two years schooling; and at death of wife part of aforesaid negores to be sold and divided between two youngest children. daughter, Easther Quin, Negro daughter, Zilpha Williams, Negro, 80 lbs., feather bed and furniture daughter, Jurasa Williams, two Negroes, 15 lbs. daughter, Seaney Williams, two Negroes son, Jacob Williams, land and plantation where Thos. Quin now lives and land belonging to same; land in Onslow, plantation tools, blacksmith tools, Negro woman, man, boy, six cows and calfes, saddle and bridle; use f six Negroes six months, and Negro. son, Lewis Williams, land in Wake County, also plantation purchased from Lot Gregory, Negroes, five cows and calves, one young horse, bridle and saddle, 10 lbs for suit of apparel. son, Jesse Williams, plantation now lives on after mother's death; land in Duplin County except that bought of Lutson Stroud and Richard parrish, Negroes, young horse, bridle and saddle, 10 lbs for suit. son, Fountain Williams, land in Jones County, tools, two Negroes, horse or mare, sadle & bridle, 10 lbs for suit. son, John Williams, land bought of Lutson Stroud and Richard Prescott, horse or mare, sadle & bridle. son-in-law, William Heath, negro Rest of estate to be sold and divided equally between five sons, etc. If daughters die without issue their part to other daughters.
