To the list: I am new to this list, just joined you all tonight. I am researching my husband's family and they had many of their beginnings in Duplin County, North Carolina. Is anyone else out there researching Roger SNELL, Sr. and his descendants? Roger was born in 1656 in Duplin County and died 1708. His son, Roger SNELL married Ann PICKERING. Their daughter Ann SNELL KING BLACKMAN McCLENDON is the line my husband descends from -- both the KING and BLACKMAN line. Is this Roger SNELL descended from Barnabas SNELL?
