Henderson was in the "Duplin Turpentine Boys" This is the way I list the men in my book: Henderson, Jesse R.: Pvt. Co. E 30TH Reg. NCT (24 in 62) Tho I do have lots of ties to other people in my notes & records for many on my list, I do not have any on Jesse. I will keep him in mind the next time I go to the courthouse. He may be in a will or division of land or a deed from his father. Don't buy any seed yet, if he died in 1863 as his service record says, how did he & Mary buy "YOUR" land in 1864? Keith PS thanks for Mary A. middle & maiden name, I will write it in my census.
