Her father was Wilson Cooper of Madison Co. Ms. His father was Fleet Cooper, Jr. He was from Duplin Co. NC. His farm, of quite few acres, was between Roseboro, NC and Clinton, NC. ( Sampson Co.was formed from Duplin Co.)There is still, a Fleet Cooper Road. That is about all the infromation I have from this end. Where can I find the earlier history? I know nothing of this.
