Dear List Friends, Today I placed on the Family History House website two additional research papers relating to Taylors in Duplin County, North Carolina. One contains what is presently known about a William Taylor who was a private in the N.C. Continental Line. He had only one heir -- a son James Taylor. This is a different William Taylor than the one who was murdered by his slave in 1787. The other contains information on Jonathan Taylor of Duplin County from the earliest period when he takes up land in the area in the 1740s.
