C. 50A on the ES of Stewart's Creek, being part of the sd. Merrit's old survey of 150A whereon he now lives & part of a new survey of sd. July Ct. 1795. 3A 212 William Ezzell to James Kenan, both of Duplin Co., 25 Feb 1792, for 80 pds. specie, 450A on the ES of the Northest Branch of Cape Fear River, joining on the side of Angola or Holly Shelter Pocosin on BS of the Watry Branch, incl. Dorman Donohoes' impr., beg. at a small red oak on the pocosin, to a pine on Johnston's line, being part of a 600A tract granted to Jacob James (date not given). Wit: Robert Merritt, Thos. Kenan. Apr.
