Hello everyone, I am still looking for relatives of WALTER MATHIS of Color. I did find out my great grandmother's name was Laura Mathis of Rose Hill or Teacheys, NC. How would I find out who her parent's were? My grandpa Walter Mathis was born in 1896 in Duplin County. He moved to Sampson Co. and married Lottie E. McLamb in 1916. He died in 1982 and my grandmother died in 1978 in Wayne Co. and both were buried in the Edgar Mclamb Cemetery in the Keener Community, Clinton, NC.
