Don't know who was looking for which Lamb, but I am directly descended from both Thomas Lambe (c 1776 - bef 1812) who married Isabella Johns (d c 1793) and Thomas' brother, William (b c 1752 - c 1807) who married Abigail David (c 1752 - c 1800). Have never found proof that the father of these men was Peter Lambe. Thomas and Robert were BOTH my 4th great grandfathers. Notes: Thomas, a resident of New Hanover Co, NC, served in the Militia of New Hanover Co during the American Revolution during the period between 16 October 1781 until August 1783. Also found in New Hanover in the same year were Isaac Lamb (2 males under 16, 2 females, and one slave) and Gibbs Lamb (1 male under 16, 3 females and one slave).
