I got an e-mail from Linda Bowden in Texas, lbowen@htcomp.net, and she needs some help. "There were three COLE brothers that went to NC in the 1700s, Mark, John and Stephen. I believe one of these brothers, probably Stephen, is the grandfather or father of my Jesse E. Cole b. abt 1814 somewhere in NC. Or at least that is what his census records in Texas say." For the next six weeks, Linda can't do any outside research, she'll have to rely on the computer, but she's at a dead end. Does anybody have anything that might help her?
