Hi All, going through some of my files, i found that what i have found on some sites do not jive with what i have and i am hoping someone can tell me what is right, i thought that i was through with the Kornegay's but it keeps poping up and now i am not sure on a few names. None of this is a direct line but they are KIN and i want it to be right. Generation 1&2 are close to what the Herring Highlights11has but it is confussing page 123 capter 3-B,i will write notes under the names i need answer's to. On the Glisson site It has Sally Glisson as the dau of Daniel Glisson and Sarah Anne Herring (dau of Stephen Herring and Sarah Bright). Sally(Sarah) Glisson b2/24/1791d1859,m George Fisher Kornegay son of Wm Kornegay and Elizabeth Outlaw. So what is right??? Does anyone know for sure?? What got me to looking at this line again is that in my Line of Joel Hines ,in his Will he mentions Grandchildren Eliza Jane Gliston (Glisson) George Gliston,and Haywood Gliston, no dates, Will written 1844 Lenoir Co.,NC, on the GLISSON site Daniel and Sarah Herring Glisson has children named Eliza b ca 1806, George b ca1810 and Haywood b1812, but these are not the Grandchildren, A Glisson has to have been married to a Hines girl,HELP, who was she??? b aft 1800. In some papers filed in the court of Probate 1/10/1871,it states that Hezekiah died sometime in the year 1866. This was found in CONFEDERATE GRAVESTONE RECORDS 1858-1960 Vol.3 page 249. HEZEKIAH GRIMES died 1867 buried in family cemetary in Pricetown,Wayne Co.,NC near Seven Springs. No marker or stone.
