I feel that some of my people might have lived in the ISLAND CREEK area of Duplin. Can anyone elaborate on that area, and what families do we know lived there ? Martha Blake lived there. Wm.McCanne and son William lived there. Thomas Cummings and son James lived there. Was this the same place as JAMISONS OLD FIELD ? Pasture Branch ? I realize there were several Island Creeks.
