I am forwarding this from Mary Grace Walker. MWD My name is Mary Grace WALKER. I am searching in Duplin co primarily for the SNELL family. My gggrandfather was Stephen Snell . according to census records in 1850 & 1860 he was born in NC 1795-1800. I do not know exactly where of the names of his parents. However 1790 census records show that there were not a lot of SNELLs in the state then and a bunch were in the Duplin & Sampson co area.
