I am interested in any information/documents containing the name of John EVERS. He and his wife Mary resided there in the 1750-1800 timeframe. He was a "chain carrier" and his name appears on some land deeds and surveys. I have never found the maiden name of Mary. I am also interested in John Evers, JR, son of John and Mary Evers, who married Sarena Mills, daughter of James and Rebecca Hicks Mills. Any information or reference is appreciated. Miriam E.
