I have just subscribed to this listserv for Duplin County, NC. I am descended from Samuel SELLERS, R.S. born abt. 1744 in Duplin County s/o Samuel SELLERS. Samuel SELLERS, R.S. married Zilpha SELLERS on May 11, 1767 in Duplin County. Zilpha was also a d/o a Samuel SELLERS. This Samuel was born abt. 1715 in Sampson County (not sure this is true, don't believe Sampson County existed in 1715) who married Hannah [last name unknown] abt. 1746 in Duplin County, NC. I have been told that Samuel SELLERS, R.S. connects to the SELLERS family of PA specifically to Samuel SELLERS b. March 12, 1689/90 in Upper Darby, PA married to Sara SMITH d/o John SMITH and Eleanor DOLBY. I can not find this connection. I have some specific questions: 1. Does any one have proof of the PA / NC connection? 2. If not, who was Samuel SELLERS, R.S.'s mother? 3. What was Hannah's last name? 4. Who were Zilpha's grandparents? I have a lot of information on descendents. Any help with ancestors would be appreciated. Thank you, Betty
