I am searching for any information on Hiram WRIGHT, father of Charity Ann WRIGHT. I believe she was born in either Duplin Co or in Cumberland Co. I think also that Hiram married several times in Duplin Co. I have no information on him other than he was born ca 1814, he joined the confederacy in Cumberland Co in 1861 or 3, as did his SiL Charity's husband as of 12/23/1863, Edward R. Newell. I don't even know what county he was from. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me wiht Hiram especially. His grandaughter told me she was 1st cousin to Wilber and Orville Wright and I have no reason to doubt great grandma Addison since Wilber went to her brother's funeral in NC back in the 1940's.
