Hi LIstmembers! Several people wrote privately providing information on the Oath of Allegiance following the Civil War. I use this forum to thank all who wrote, and after the holidays I will say private thank you to all. For now my research is limited to the Revolutionary War but am retaining all information/clues sent to me for future reference. Thanks to all who took time this very busy season to write.
