    3. Hello, Now that I've gotten my face out of the Scotch-Irish, we'll get back to work on the elusive Samuel. He was sent Fed Ex on 10/25/99. I don't have a record of how many Samuels were sent only that there was a total of 69 Wests (3 Rivenbarks, 3 Gibsons, 6 Sellers, and 81 Jones). These all appear to have been from the Heritage book. These are new. FROM # 13 3491 pg. 7 WILLIAM WEST 14 May 1772 100 acres in Craven between Neuse and Trent Rivers on the E. side of Hammon's Pocoson, joining PETER GILSTRAP, a small branch, the great Branch, JOHN WATERS, and SAMUEL WEST FROM # 5 p. 467 SAMUEL WEST to ELIAS JAMES, both planters of Duplin Co., 18 July 1787, for 500 pds. lawful money of N. C. 200A in Duplin Co. & Sampson Co. on the NS of the main branch of Rockfish & Calips Meadows, granted by patent to WILLIAM KNOWLES & at his decease fell by heirship to his brother JOHN KNOWLES who sold sd. 200A to CLIFTON BOWEN who conveyed the same to SAMUEL WEST. Wit: CHARLES JAMES, STEPHEN SMYTH. Oct. Ct. 1787. FROM # 16 2163 pg. 159 WILLIAM WILLSON 4 August 1723 233 acres on the North West side of Alligator Creek called the Cow Ridge, joining CORNELIUS FITZPATRICK, BRYAN FITZPATRICK, SAM'L. WEST, and a pocoson Witnesses: WM. REED, C. GALE, R. SANDERSON, J. LOVICK, THOS. POLLOCK I'll see if I can wade through some of the West entries in the Heritage book for Samuel, but when I find him again I'm gonna tell him EVERYTHING!
