I have just subscribed to the Duplin Co.List. I have been researching the followinf families: ALDERMAN (David), BRICE (Joseph & Francis), MURPHY (Timothy), STALLINGS(Shadrack, Martha & Wiley), WELLS. Some related names are LANIER, NEWTON, SOUTHERLAND & TEACHY. It seems that most all of these families moved to southwest Georgia in Nov 1883.
