We have abit of information on George Newton...Not much on the other three below...can you add any light. Jerome Tew NEWTON, George, Private, N.C. Malitia Soldier was born about 1740 and came to Duplin County between 1750-55. He was one of four brothers who came up the Cape Fear River and settled in Duplin County near the Black River.
