Looking for information on the Hussey family and allied families of Duplin County. I have a John E. Hussey listed in the census of Duplin through 1850, John died in 1852. He was married twice, 1st to Jane Thomas, dau. of Willliam and Celia Thomas. He had several children by this marriage, John Bryan Hussey, Edward E. Hussey and Susan Jane Thomas who married Edward Smith. His 2nd wife was Malsey Bishop, dau. of Robert Bishop. Robert was living with the Hussey family in 1850. John and Malsey had one child, believed to be Lafayette Hussey. Any help would be appreciated.
