WILLIAM THOMAS SENR.'S children a negro child in rotation as they should be born of his negro woman slave PHILLIS & in consequence of his dau. MARENDA dying under age of maturity & in her infancy, sd. MARENDA having a right & claim in rotation of sd. negro PHILLIS' increase. Wit: WILLIE THIGPEN, REDICK (o) BROWN, JOHN THIGPEN. Apr. Ct. 1810. 4A p. 388 JOHN E. HUSSEY witnessed a land sale from LOTT GREGORY of Sampson Co. to LOFTEN QUINN of Duplin Co., 18 Jan 1811. 4A p. 558 MICHAEL BONEY of Hanover Co., (New Hanover) to JOHN E. HUSSEY of Duplin Co., 19 Aug 1813, for $125 lawful money 360A on the NS of Limestone Swamp, beg. at a white oak a corner of a 140A survey granted to JOSEPH T. RHODES, joining JACOB RHODES' line, between the White Oak & Bear Pocosin, joining LOFTEN QUINN, being land granted to JOSEPH T. RHODES by patent dated 21 Sep 1785 & by him conveyed to JACOB RHODES who conveyed to MICHAEL BONEY. Wit: JOHN COOPER, L. HOUSTON. Oct. Ct. 1813. 4A p. 559 JOHN E. HUSSEY witnessed a land sale from NEWMAN (N) EDWARDS to JAMES RHODES (SENR.), both of Duplin Co., 23 Oct. 1812. FROM # 13 1100 pg. 348 SIMON HUSSEY 22 April 1767 386 acres in Onslow on Batchelors delight (which is) a drean of New River, joining DAVID AUSTEN, Husseys corner, and (a point) near the Dismal. 4380 pg. 219 HENRY HUSSEY 30 January 1773 37 acres in Hyde, joining Collin's Creek, THOMAS SMITH, an old survey, MATHIAS TYSON, and a Gutt making into Collins Creek. 8280 pg. 349 Simon HUSSEY and SAMUEL BUDD 14 March 1775 130 acres in Onslow on the N. E. side of the N. W. Branch of New River, joining Bracks land, the half moon, SARAH ANDERSON (now Brack), Sumners line, and DANIEL AUSTEN. FROM # 6 154. JOHN E. Husse was an executor to the Will of MATTHEW EDWARDS, 29 May 1816. FROM # 10 HUSSEY, EDWARD was a taxpayer in Onslow County in 1771 HUSSEY, MARY was a taxpayer in Bladen County in 1784 HUSSEY, PETER & a JOHN was a taxpayer in Rowan County in 1768 HUSSEY, SIMON was a taxpayer in Onslow County in 1771 HUSSEY, STEPHEN was a taxpayer in Rowan County in 1768 I hope this helps you, Robert.
