The records in #s 18 & 19 are PROBATES, ADMINISTRATIONS, INVENTORIES and appear in a very spartan form. I.E, according to the author, Dr. Stephen E. Bradley, Jr., "For the most part, these are LISTS of probates (those who had wills) and of Administrations (those who were intestate) If I am reading this correctly your WILLIAM MIZELL did NOT have a Will (indicated by EX for executor) but did die intestate (as indicated by AD for administrator). In both locations that I mentioned to you the only difference in the material is the spelling of their names. I tried several times to get the copies of his administration while in Raleigh. They are no longer available. Keep hoping they have been mis-filed not stolen. The other Mizel, Mizell and Mizzel that I mentioned were listed in the index of Duplin deeds. Hope you don''t have to take asthma medicine tonight and can get some sleep. Thanks a bunch, Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: Dee Thompson To: Barbara Parrish Sent: Thursday, December 02, 1999 6:08 PM Subject: MIZEL Barbara, I may have spoken too soon. Elinor, John, Luke, Samuel and William MIZELL and Elienor, John, Luke and William MIZILL are All listed in Tyrrel County in 1761. They all are in just two versions of the same information: the Will of William Mizell. Also in # 29 I have Moses Mizell in Chowan County in 1758. What do you think? Dee
