Steve, Would you by any chance have any information on the parents of the Hall family below: 1870 Census: 481/131 HALL William J. 31 farmer " Mary S. 33 housekeeping " Mary A. 10 " William E. 8 " Isaac G. 4 " Betsy J. 1 1880 Census: 21/1945 HALL William J. 43 " Mary S. 43 wife " Mary A. 19 child " William E. 17 child " Isaac G. 14 child " Elizabeth J. 11 child " Richard I. 8 child " Jas. N. 6 child " Louis E. 3 child " Susan A. 10/12 child I found a William Hall in the 1850 Census. The age of the child, William H. is correct with the William J. above, but I'm not convinced they are the same family. 1850 Census: 71-351 HALL William 1805 45 poor house rheumatism " " Eliza 1817 33 " Poverty & Disease " " Sarah 1831 19 " " " " Mary 1834 16 " " " " Rebecca 1837 13 " " " " William H. 1839 11 " " " " Martha 1845 5 " " " " Jno D. 1849 1 " " I have a feeling that the 1850 family is not the same as the 1870 & 1880 family, but think that they are related, possibly brother to Lewis and Lavina Hall, who are direct neighbors and land owners in the 1870 and 1880 censuses.
