Hi listmembers! Yesterday I obtained a WEST surname index to Duplin Co. deeds on file at the NC Archives. There is a Grantor/Grantee index which contains given name, dates of deeds with book number/letter number and page, type of instrument such as deed, grant, mortgage, etc. For anyone who wishes to send for an ancestor's land records, I will look up any WEST given name and get back with information as outlined above.
