    3. Hello, Another researcher sent me these Sampson Co. Court Minutes. (I am sending this to the Duplin list because the CAMERON's and KING's were also in Duplin Co.) The DUARK surname is new to me and I was wondering if anyone is familiar with it. Is this the correct spelling (I thought that it might also be DARK or ??). Any clues are greatly appreciated. Donna FEATHERBED DISPUTED: It having been made to appear to this court that Stephen King, administrator of Magdalene Duark, deceased, through mistake took into his possession a feather bed as the property of the said deceased, which was literally the property of Sarah Cameron, ordered that the said Stephen King give up to the said Sarah Cameron the above mentioned. (1787) DUARK ESTATE: The committee appointed to divide the estate of Nancy Duark, deceased, among her lawful representatives, report as follows: That after deducting out 8 pounds and 16 shillings which we allowed Isaac Cameron for an account he rendered in against her estate, the residue of the estate amounting to 27 pounds, 9 shillings and 4 1/2 pence. That the sum divided among her heirs makes each share 3 pounds, 9 shillings and 4 1/4 pence. Signed Thomas Sutton, William King and James Blackman. (1794)
