Dear Melba: I have a John Byrd who married a Rebecca Bennett in Duplin Co., NO in 1799. This would have been about the right time for a son of Micheal's to be getting married. They moved to Muhlenberg Co., KY and he died about 1808 and she married a Spence Hynes/Hines and moved to McCracken Co., KY with John's 5 children, Nathan, John Jr., Anne, Polly & Sally. There is a will for him. There is a will on Rebecca's father Thomas Bennett who I believe had two wifes Ann Kennard and Sarah Gibbs.
