I want to thank all that has responded to my problem in a couple of weeks in visiting the Pamlico area. My Mother and I are planning to go to Pamlico, Lenoir, Greene, Duplin, Craven, Wayne and Wake Counties. Hopefully we don't have to make alternative plans. She now says she must go to Florence & Mesic to check on the family grave sites. I just pray they are alright so she will have peace of mind. I pray for all that are in the flooded areas. I live in Florida and now am sorry for all for their misfortune because of Dennis & Floyd. Again, thanks again. Still hoping a good report will come. Someone asked where Florence was located. It is east of Bayboro in Pamlico County. I believe it is on the Pamlico Sound. The gravesite is on the Bay River I believe.
