Hello, I am in Virginia and live in a direct flood zone. We are fine but the other cities around us (not so called flood areas are really under). There is no where for the creek and lake waters to go for awhile in the city areas. My heart goes out to all who have this flooding. There is an area in VA that has no water safe for drinking and some flood waters made it up to the roofs of the homes. Parts of Hwy 64 are closed down even today. I have family in the New Hanover (Wilmington) area and hope they are doing fine. I have not been able to hear from all of them at this time. Also have family in the Hampstead area.
