    3. I just heard from my mother in Duplin County. She said the power is out, however, she still has phone service. The some of roads are flooded or washed out including a part of I-40. They were told that there is no way into or out of Beaulaville in Duplin County, but they were able to find a way around it, only because they have a motor home and were able to drive through 2 feet of water across the road. Not safe for any car. There are a lot of trees uprooted. She said there is very little damage to the homes. She has a mobile home and only lost a couple of shingles. I hope that all of your families are as lucky as my mother. If you haven't heard from them yet, it's probably because they haven't been able to get back due to flooding of the roads. Remember too, that cordless phones won't work when the power is out, so if they don't have an old style phone that doesn't need power to work, they won't be able to call. To those of you who weathered the storm, I'm so glad that the storm wasn't what they had predicted and hope that all of your damages (if any) were small. ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com.
