Looking for any information on the following families: (Info from 1880 Duplin County Census) MILLER Lafayette, 26, laborer Delia, 27, wife Clarence, 2, son MILLER Robert, 20, ?, labor Elizabeth, 57, ?, labor, divorced Meresaco, 8, daughter Lauderdale, 4, son Robert and Elizabeth did not have a relationship listed. Robert is probably too young to be the father of Meresaco. Elizabeth is probably too old to be the mother of the two children. I don't know if Lafayette ties in to the family, but with the odd names, I think probably yes. Meresaco is my connection. I have found records for the same person with different spellings of the first name: Meresaco Miller, b1871 - 1880 census Merusa Miller, age 17 - 1884 marriage record (she lied about her age) Marriscow Miller b11-9-1871 died 12-20-1934 - headstone My grandmother called her Russ. She was married to I. G. Hall, aka Isaac Gregory Hall, aka Greg or Grigg. They are both buried in the Gregg or Grigg Hall Cemetery in Duplin County, close to Potter Hill. They were land owners, the property where the cemetery is located, but we haven't been able to find any proof of that yet. I would like ANY information on the above people. Thanks!
