    2. Prouty
    3. Hi Don, My McCulloh is James McCulloh who m. 1) Mary Taylor 2) Elizabeth George. We think he is a grandson of Henry the land speculator, which isn't proven, but he was left a lot in that Henry's will of 1778, and is not his son. I do have information on the Henry d. 1755 too, but you probably have everything I have. Speaking of confusion, who do you think the parents of Alexander McCulloch (abt 1715-1799) is? So you have him as a son of Henry d.1755 or not? 3. Dee, I don't know if my email went through to you or not. Seems like my email is being picky and not going out sometimes. I did post the Bordeaux info to the site. You sent 2 files, they look to be the same or should I check them more closely for variances? Thanks! These are very valuable resources and will help researchers for Years to come. So, if you don't want to transcribe them but have copies Please consider sending them to me and I have some people that are very Anxious to help transcribe them to get them on the site. As many of you know, Dr Herring's library is closed more than it is open due To a lack of volunteers to open it for fellow researchers. So, if we can get Some volunteers to offer themselves a couple hours a week or a month to work In the library that would be a huge help to researchers, and I am sure Dr Herring would be very grateful to you as well. ARMSTRONG has the most cards, so that will take a while. I'll probably start with the others first. Let me know if I should do all these or which to eliminate. Thanks, Barbara S. I have also had someone step forward that has some copies of a few Of the cards and they are going to be transcribed for the site. So, I am asking, if anyone has any copies or portions of any of these cards To please consider sending in copies so that we can add the information to The site. Also, if you live in Duplin and find Dr Herring's library open if you would Consider stopping by and copying a few pages of the index cards to be placed On the site I am sure many researchers would be grateful. There will be a Disclaimer put on the pages that these are transcribed from photocopies of Leslie H Brown, Jr.'s index cards. So, come on Duplin, search through your papers and see if you might have Some of the info from these cards and please consider sending it in to share With others. Thanks! 3. I have information on Joseph Williams and Martha Parrott/Perritt who lived in Duplin Co. in the Great Coharrie Swamp; the area that became Sampson County. Three of their sons married daughters of Joseph Herring and Unicy Uzzell who had moved from Johnson Co. to Sampson Co. Hezekiah Williams m Eunice Herring Henry Williams m Nancy Herring Parrott/Perritt, etc. Williams m Rhoda Herring. (The name Parrott varied in spelling in many ways.) I am seeking the parents of Joseph Williams and also the parents of his wife, Martha Parrott or Perritt. According to their obit notice Joseph d July 6, 1825 in Anson Co., NC at age 77. Martha, his wife d July 8, 1825 about 2 years younger. That would have made their birth years about 1748 and 1750 depending on the months they were born in./ Any information would be greatly appreciated. Dorothy White
